I am going to try to post the picture but here is the link in case I fail (highly likely as I won't do Photobucket). Whoooeee, this is some tractor for those chicks. Seriously, the failure of it is no outside run. eauclaire.craigslist.org/grd/3701822312.html

That's just awesome!! I think the idea is to use it in large livestock pastures so the birds can free range, eating bugs, plants and scratching/eating grain out of livestock piles. This would be a good size for a couple hundred laying hens in an area with mild winters. But something on a smaller scale would work good for the hobby farm or small scale homestead. You could make a smaller tractor like this with a portable yard and if you have a close neighbor with livestock, trse him eggs for the chance to run your birds in his pasture a few days a week or so. This would improve health & production while cutting down on feed.
If no neighbors for this use, it would work for garden areas, orchards and other such places around the home keeping the rotated. By doing so, you would have a healthier kawn and birds as well as few ticks, fleas, ants and other pests.
I like this idea...can you tell?!! ;D
