Thinking about home security razor wire seems like a cheap and effective method to keep people from climbing through windows. I'm not talking about now but having it on hand if fighting were to break out in the streets.

Hidden/concealed prevention would be the key. |

It would broadcast a lot of things I guess. My plan would be to place it on the interior of the window as a deterrent from entering in the first place or a way to slow down or funnel someone to a different entry point should they decide to enter anyway. I guess I'm looking at this from a bug in perspective.

That is some freaking nasty stuff for sure. Aside from the broadcasting your intentions it is a great defensive tool. You need to get some super thick leather gloves if you plan on using it. Even the thick gloves specifically designed for this kind of use don't last too long.

Of course it would be deployed when everything goes to hell like in a TEOTWAWKI type scenario. I have a high wooden fence all around my property, and was thinking of deploying it on my blind spots like on the side of the house where it cant be seen unless you look over the fence or jump it. Also is good to funel people into a certain location. However, I do agree with cwi it will broadcast to others. Best way is to somehow make it part of the environment and concealed like you mentioned on the inside of windows and even inside the house. |
