I mentioned when I heard the Boston Marathon bombers used gun powder that they would try to make it harder to purchase gun powder.. and here it is.. it's started.. Senator Targets Gun Powders with Explosives 'Background Check' Law''Lautenberg's changes in the explosives law would seriously hamper history reenactor hobbyists, black powder hunters, sportsmen, target shooters, and anyone that loads their own ammo with modern smokeless gun powder or the older style black powder.'' www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/05/08/New-Explosives-License-Impinges-on-Gun-Owners-that-Load-Own-Ammo

T-war, they are not going to stop. This issue will persist for several reasons but for one, it takes a lot of focus off the fact the economy still sucks and the debt is careening out into orbit. The left will not quit because they play for the long game. Always remember my friend; where running water meets the rock, water eventually wins. They will not stop.

I have to agree...though I'm fighting them on a local level as much as I can!! We can not give up! Jimmy

Although after reading some of the info that ATF has in storing this kind of thing, it makes it very hard to comply and is very ambigous.

"The bill does not seem to affect fireworks dealers."
That is just stupid since the bombers acquired their gun powder by buying fireworks and taking the gun powder out of them.

Y'all are correct....they will never stop...... Be it powder, brass, lead, serial numbers on bullets, background checks, magazines, knives.
Black powder has been kinda hard to come by for a couple of years now.....most retail outlets would rather deal with pyrodex and other substitutes.
BP is considered an explosive, smokeless is considered a propellant.
BP rules for quantities (there is a number) require storage in a powder magazine located away from the main building, built to spec's making it hard for many people to comply.
