Last night a friend of mine gave me two 50 round boxes of .22 LR ammo. They are in a white box that has the bold insignia of the CMP on it. They are made in Mexico by Industrias Tecnos S.A. DE C.V. I went to their website (www.aguilaammodotcomdotmx) and it said they use ELEY technology in their process. Not being an engineer or knowing all that much about various ammo has anyone used this ammo or know about it? Thanks for any info you can give me. (No I will not ship to anyone to test it for me ;D ) Jim

Used the Aguila sub sonic "Hummingbird" ammo a few times not impressed.
Have not used any of their match stuff.
Eley! used a lot of it in Germany on the base Pistol team, and the local hand gunners at the sports man club here like it for competition.

Thanks renegade. Maybe I can trade it off for something else or just keep it and use it at the range. He happened to pick it up at the local sporting goods store. Jim

22LR here in Ohio is selling at $10.00 a 50 round box PLUS sales tax at 7% ((((I can remember .50cent a 50 round box))). So I would keep it for future use or trade UP for a larger cal. Might be a good barter round for something needed DOWN THE ROAD too

These he paid $5.00 a box (50) so I guess I will hang on to them since I can't find anymore anywhere. Guess I will check with the owners of the sporting goods store locally and see if I can get some or when they will be getting some more in. Good friends for 20+ years and nice guys to boot. Jim
