Fuel-less Generator

Has anybody seen this and is it any good ? Dont know why is called a generator, if anything is more like a big battery pack. The unit goes for about $2600 ....thoughts ?

This is nothing more than a battery, battery-charger, and inverter, all packaged together. At 1,000W max output, IMHO this is way over priced at $2,600.00.

Here's how to put together something with almost twice the output power for less than half the price...

Thanks for the tips.....I supposed the "generator" shown is so expensive because of the Lithium batteries, lighter and stores longer then a lead battery.

Not a Gen set, just a battery pack.....
