Very cool, OT!
How did you record that? Do you have a hat-mounted camera?

One of my most memorable strikes was when fishing with my BIL.....a pike, came from under the boat, while I was just swishing a new French spinner to see what the action was, is about 6" of water. He charged out from under the boat and stole it right off my line....scared the crap out of me....LOL....that strike at your feet reminded me of that day. Two week later my BIL gave me back that spinner....he caught that same fish took out the spinner and turned it loose. I wouldn't use that bait again in that spot....that pike couldn't leave it alone. That is a great story and very typical of pike to hide under the boat. Still it scares the hell out of you when it happens. Anything with flash will attract pike, french style blade on a inline spinner bring the pike running.I stopped using inline spinners 25 years ago. The treble hook on the back killed to many fish so I took off one hook and it did help but then started missing fish. So I just don't use then any more but it is a very productive lure.

Very cool, OT! How did you record that? Do you have a hat-mounted camera? Yes I do it's a DIY and so simple. I wear a ball cap and all I did was put a hole in the bill. Then found a bolt that fit the mounting hole in the bottom of the camera. You can't use anything bigger then a point and shoot camera because of the weight. Also you must adjust the bill of the cap so the camera will see what you see. Once you have it adjusted it works pretty good. The hard part is remembering the camera is on your head and to move slowly, if you move to fast you make people dizzy looking here and there. Yes just like some of my videos
