Every bass on a buzzer is a good one! Were you using 1/4 oz? I go to an 1/8 oz sometimes when the bigger one isnt drawing that many strikes. Up north in MO they work better toward late summer early fall. Down here they hit on buzz baits as early as February! Cant go to the pond tonite but, gonna go tomorrow!
That looked lime an awesome river to take a canoe or kyack in

OT, you're a great influence. You finally passed the fishing bug on to Woodyz and USCGME. Hope they're as lucky as you are catching them.

After that i give it the thumb nail test, if it slides off my thumb nail it needs sharpened. If it hang there all by it's self and don't slide off it's ready.

I been throwing things at fish since I was a little kid. That was about 8,000 cheeseburgers ago too. I seriously love fishing. I have often said if forced to give up hunting or fishing Id grab my bassin rig and never look back. I hope in the next couple months I get to go drop lines in the great state of Louisiana

I know you're a mono guy OT. I fish Fire Line braided with a 6 ft shock mono leader. When fishing bb's I find that I get better hook sets and less twist memory in the line.
What kind of reel/rod combo are you using?

You mentioned actually going out to fish, that's what I meant by being bit by the "fishing bug". Lots of great fishing spots in LA, the fish are waiting for ya.

Thanks for posting OT. Rollerpig had gone fishing too last night and I hear he didnt have much luck. I'm surprise because I understand that during fullmoons fish feed at night, and also heard that it wasnt a good idea to go fishing at during the day time after a full moon because the fish were feeding all night. But hey, the point is that you got out and still had some fun fishing.
