can you imagine someone like justin beiber in a zombie apocolypse. i would pay money to see something like that, it would be a hoot I would probably pay money to see Justin Beiber in a zombie apocalypse. Though short lived it would be freakin hilarious! Throw him out of a chopper in the Amazon with a BOB and the clothes on his back, then monitor the progress via a drone. I'd give him 8 hours left on the earth if that, under those conditions.

I wouldn't even pay to see that happen to Justin bieber.. that kid is an idiot and if I'm on my last day on earth I'm not putting a nickel in that idiot's pocket.. (I might dress up like a zombie and go scare the crap out of him though.. that would make my day)

It will definitely be a sad situation in a shtf. Even with what I have, I worry it's not enough but, I'm not sure anything, or amount, would be. Not having the ability to think or know how to get what you need to survive will be the downfall of many. Once they run out of supplies, I doubt they will have the ability to carry on. I will help those close as much as I can but, I will not let my own go without at their expense! I try to get people to be prepared but they just think I'm crazy. That's okay though. I can only hope they are never proven wrong.

I can only hope they are never proven wrong. You have described my feelings quite well. I'm still strong and healthy, but I'll also be 60 years old soon. That means that I have to be realistic in terms of my physical performance - my mind still thinks I'm about 40 years old but the mirror doesn't lie With so many potential forms of SHTF being possible, being flexible and truly knowing how to make things happen are critical. The best I can hope for is a stable barter based system where one persons weakness is another persons strength. Marc

Money can buy stuff, but it's skills, knowledge and your life experiences that counts. You can then buy/trade for items that, for you,is important for your survival. The word, survival, can have different meaning to each person. For one person,it could mean "end of modern civilization as we know it" .For another, could be to have a extra food to have on hand ,a mini garden, ways of living cheaper to stretch the paycheck. For me,I'm somewhere in the middle. With the economic downturn, I buy extra food and use the dehydrator to dry veggies, crockpot cooking is my new hobby :-)
