I wouldn't say a vote for the demo party is 100% anti 2A. My pistol instructor was/is a registered democrat, and until he said so I never would've known otherwise. I went Independent because it more correctly reflects my belief that anyone running for any office position should be voted for based on individual merit rather than party. That was enforced in April 2012 when both Democrats AND Republicans in my state voted for the anti-gun #*%$ that we still haven't even felt the full brunt of yet.

I disagree. When a party has a proven track record of limiting rights and openly advocated it's dissent for freedoms that don't coincide with their beliefs, a vote for them, especially the figure head is 100% imo. Anybody voting otherwise is sadly mistaken and all of us will pay for it. I have no illusions that the r party is much better mind you. They are all power hungry mongrels trying to get to the meaty bone. A complete burning out of the viper pit is the only cure imo. Even then, I fail to see what safeguards could be put in place to to stop it from happening all over again. As long as people are willing to be led and willing to let themselves be deceived, we will always have corruption. In the mean time, I will continue to show my support to companies that support freedom not communism as best I can.

Off politics and back to the tools we need to survive daily- the wave I got at the pawn shop has scissors but no awl ? I need an awl and can't think of a good reason to keep the scissors. I'm thinking about retro fitting an awl and trashing the scissors. Do any of you use the scissors in your multitool ?

Scissors come in handy in many places for me.. (the scissors on the small swiss army knife actually saved me from a chewing out by a 3 star general once in Germany.. my moustache needed trimming and for whatever reason he was hell on non-regulation moustaches.. I've never been without them since and I don't even have a moustache now)
