...well I've been trying to use ole Sol lately to get me some free hot water... Well it's VERY primitive but it produces 141* water. Actually, making the water hot is the easy part. It's the control of how hot you make it and storage. Currently I'm only storing about 5 gallons. I had a bunch of pvc pipe leftover and though it is not the best material to use, it's a work in progress. It's fun too to tell ya the truth. I have maybe $55 invested so far. Much more when I upgrade to copper It's all manual at this point, nothing automated about it. In that I stop the flow of cold water to heat up the water with a valve. Then when I'm ready for a shower (only thing I have it plumbed to currently) I open the valve and go take a nice warm shower....for free!! It's only 4x8 currently and to tell you the truth, when I get the storage taken care of, that may be big enough for my use. Try it, you'll like it! Jimmy
