i have always liked the rugers, especially in the black/stainless weatherproof package, both my .22 rugers were stainless with butler creek folding stocks on them, the 10/22 looked like a minni AK with a 30 shot banana mag, the 77/22 was a little more sedate but not by much

I was thinking a 77/357 along side a Blackhawk stainless 4.62 barrel in 357 would make an ideal partnership.

I'm thinking you'd be right. That would be a sweet combo. I've got (wait.. I used to have) a Marlin lever gun .357 and a Ruger GP100 6" stainless revolver. I do love a rifle/pistol that shoots the same bullet. Now I think I'll start looking for a .44 magnum revolver.. I just want to look.. I don't really want one.

I inherited my Dads 357 rifle and colt 357 6" revolver. I to like the combo. However the range with the 357 in the rifle is not so good, it drops a lot in a hurry. But at a hundred yards and less it is great.
