I decided to put a small fishing kit together for my B.O.B. I though about using an Altoid tin can but decided not to use aluminum for my container since mainly I be saltwater fishing. Instead, I decided to go with a small plastic box with fixed dividers sold at Walmart in the fishing department. Reason that I chose the plastic container is because I figured the tin can will become corrosive and eventually spread like cancer to all the other items within the box. My fishing kit: 4 Bobbins with 7 lbs test line. ( The line can also be used to set perimeter alarms) Hooks different sizes. Different size weights Swivels Also, I would like to add 2 yoyos when I have funds available. The yoyos would be a great addition to any b.o.b. because it has several uses like for snares. I used the cotton balls in each compartment to keep the items inside from making noise while you walk.

That looks good! If CL tells me she'd like hers for salt water as well, then I may use the identical box. If the preference is for the Altoids size but also for salt water, I'll have to do something a bit different.

Look at you go orly, that's a nice little kit. That little Plano box is ideal for small kits and you seem to have all your bases covered sans the bobbers. I like using bobbins for my fishing line too 'cause they take up very little room, you can store lots of fishing line on them and it keeps the line from becoming tangled. Myself I seldom get the opportunity to do any salt water fishing but I know you live near the Atlantic and do have that opportunity.

I also have several fresh water spots near my house and am thinking of modifying the current kit to include some fresh water lures which I think would be a great idea since this kit is for my B.O.B.

Aha, CL, I'll take that as a hint to stick to freshwater goodies then.
