Today I forgot my camera that I use for making videos. Tell you what, next time I go ill for sure do a video on gutting and skinning  |

Man oh Man I use to know an old Cajun lady who would give you a sawmill cussing for head shooting that squirrel......She really liked her squirrel brains...Good looking dumpling material there.... I know the answer to that because they taste good...but. Even tho they taste good i'm after the meat and don't want it all messed up from a body shot. That's why I use a 22 and not a shotgun don't want all those pellets in the meat. I know what your saying, some people are crazy about squirrel brains |

Did not object to the head shot myself.....I tend do use a plain .22 and do the same Even a body shot with that does little meat damage You folks would have loved that old lady She was old school and did a lot of things like she was taught as a child.....I think she was in her late eighties in the early 90's. I went hunting with her younger brother quite a bit back then..... He was early sixties.... I learned a lot from those two |

You gonna have to low and slow cook that beast. Those big reds are tough! However, 4 hours in a crock pot, simmering in some chicken broth with banana peppers and italian seasoning then serve with dumplins, MMMMM slap yo mamma good! That was a nice head shot brother. You come down my way in SE Missouri and Ill put you on more of those than we can eat!
