Ingredients:
1 whole cut up chicken
extra gizzards cuz I like them
2 medium sized diced yellow onions
two diced stalks of celery
one head of cauliflower florets
two bunches of broccoli florets
1/2 cup of uncooked white rice.
about a half cup of fresh parsley
Throw everything in the pot together and fill the pot with water to about 2 inches below the top
Cooking times will very but when my chicken is cooked with no blood showing near the bone and not falling off the bone it is done enough for me to eat.
There's nothing like home made chicken soup to nurse a cold. Even doctors can't explain why that is so but they do recommend it.
