So I had a fish suck the skirt off my spinnerbait. I am too creative(cheap)to buy replacement skirts. I used cut rubberbands. Does anyone have any other ideas on good replacement skirt materials?

What i do when this happens is replace it with a soft plastic grub with swim tail. Or steal one from another spinnerbait Have you ever tied your own skirts? Back in the day you could buy rolls of living rubber and tie your own. It's lots of fun and very easy to do but not in the field. Unless you use the small round rubber bands to hold the skirts on the body of the spinnerbait.

No living rubber. I have used some rubber bands in the field though. They work for a stop-gap.
