For any ammo and/or magazines one must have 2 forms of ID now (like that's going to actually curb gun crime); including one's pistol permit and/or ammo eligibility certificate. I'm the only one now in the entire household who could still by ammo/mags (legally, that is).

I really am surprised that these laws which prevent out of state persons from legally buying ammo has not been challenged and struck down as they are in direct violation to the 2A.

Yipes. I guess they are that bad. We recently met some people from a local forum who packed up and moved from CT as soon as the laws were passed. Their circumstances were such that they could work it out. They both appear to be former military and open carry here just because they can.

Yes it's that bad and it's only going to get worse. Heck they already confiscated every firearm, cartridge, and chemical from a local chemist who used to work for Remington. Not disgruntled, no lead on terrorism, etc. Dunno why they arrested him but I'll bet they were only too happy to take guns away from a non-government person.
