Just bought this knife from a pawn shop in Portland ME. 7inch long overall 3 -1/4 inch blade. Looked like a factory ground edge that never got finish sharp leading me to think this could be a knife blank. It is signed Dobrinski 11/05 I found on guy on Facebook who has this name w/custom knife making as a interest. I paid $25 Ps the blade is 3/16 thick I'm looking for any info or heck even opinion

Nice looking knife . Is Dobrinski in the knife makers guild ? Depending on the steel - quality and history of maker , I think you got a bargain if not ONE HECK of a Bargain .
congrats

Can't help with info but I have to say I like it a bunch. I like the curvy grip handle and the width of the blade. Sharp looking and appears to be well made. Great find.

It took a nice edge, it felt like it may be harder steel than my bk2. Now let's see if it keeps it's edge!

Had the knife appraised at Kittery trading post here in Maine. 75 cash $90 trade $150 retail. I'm thinking trade and put the money towards a filson or Johnson woolin mills jacket.

So what I did was trade the knife to a friend that runs a health food store for three 5# bags of organic coffee that I already get a steep discount on. Worth $150 and he has about $75 invested...good deal for both!

Well that trade worked out great for you, $125 profit and your kind of coffee.. but once it's gone you won't have the coffee or the knife..
