That be a "Running Hatchet" knot.
The only way to get it loose is to run and grab a hatchet.

I will do a video on this knot soon. Once learned you will use this knot all the time when camping. it's a great knot for what it''s designed for.

I know what it does but I don't have a clue of what it is called. It works like a palliver knot where you can pull the slack out of the line easily but it will hold tension in the load direction. Correct?

Good for you you must have studied the knot some and should be able to understand why it's a great knot for tents and tarps.....Good job bro ;D Tomorrow some time I will make the video and give the name if no one gets it
