Wolf ammo is marketing "Wolf Gold" brass cased, copper jacketed fmj, made in Taiwan. A friend bought 200 rounds of it in .223/55gr fmj to try in his Colt, and gave me 20 to through through an M&P15. I don't have a chrono, so I can't tell you much beyond: All of it cycled perfectly, and when mixed with other .223 in the same mag, neither of us could tell any difference. His rifle was very clean in terms of residue after shooting all of it.
Seems to be a lot of it in the US now, and you can find it for just under $0.40 per round.
Lastly, if you have a 223/556 with a tight twist 1:7 or 1:8 barrel, Widener's finally has a stock of the excellent Prvi .223 in 75gr JHP for $615. per thousand. This stuff runs around 2500 fps - making it a heavy hitter.

My local gun range gun dealer selling .223 for $8.95 for 20 rds. Cheaper than I bought before the crunch, they also have firearms in stock and no empty shelves, nice to see that again.
