One of my EDC items is ALWAYS my Pelican 1920 flashlight. It is clipped in my left front pocket 24/7. I can't tell you how many times it comes in handy, and a few times has helped me survive. Do you guys EDC a flashlight?

My EDC light is a Maglite 2-AA cell mini LED flashlight with a black holster. It has a 3 watt LED Luxeon bulb, flood to spot focusing and projecting beam. It has high and low beam for extended battery life (25% power). By turning the top focusing head off and placing it at the bottom it becomes a candle lantern. It is made out of solid aluminum and it has rubber o-rings at each end. It also has a strobe mode and a SOS mode. It sells for $18.59 at Amazon. I carry this light with me all the time.

I always have several on me. One, on my keychain, is a mini-LED. On my belt I always have my Fenix LD20. 180 lumens and uses AA cells!

I am with you TJ. I like an led torch that holds STANDARD AAA or AA batteries. Imagine trying to find some of those watch batteries if in a shtf scenario......not for me.

I also carry around a mini-mag with 2 AA's and a Steamlight Strion. Sooner or later the lights go out and a small light will be needed to get around and get things done.

Have three with me all the time. I keep numerous ones located in vehicles, house, bags...
I have several small solar powered ones that work pretty good.
They have saved me many times.

Like angel, I carry an Ultrafire...502... 5 function. Same sizeas my surefire &3 times as bright. Odd size rechargeable batteries or you can use 2 cr123 's. On my side when feet touch the ground. I keep a Coast/Leatherman 160 lumen that runs on 3 AAA BATTERIES in G.H.B. & B.O.B.

My normal everyday carry is either a Streamlight Microstream or Stylus Pro, front left pocket. I prefer the micro, becasue of the size and weight. If I feel like I'll be needing more light, I usually grab my Streamlight Protac, belt carry, but I still back it up with one of the other two. Then as a last resort, I have a little micro light on my keychain.

I just ordered my EDC torch, a Maratac AAA from CountyComm.com. Rated at 115 lumen OTF (out the front) from a single AAA battery! Nothing but really good reviews online, I'll give an update when it's here and been tested.
