My Surefire G3. If that's not around then I use the light emitting from my Blackberry screen.

I am a pest control technician and I use a flashlight every day. I never leave home with out it. I carry a Browning Hunter Catalyst 175 lumen light that runs off of two CR123 batteries. When a light comes with a warning about retina damage if looked at directly...then it must be bright!!! I carry it, a leatherman wave, and a micro survival kit in a Nite-ize Pock-its pouch. 24-7 I've got a light!

Most of you men have it easy for carrying your EDC items in your pocket. We ladies need a little assistance. This is what I carry at all times. My Altoid EDC: Included are: all purpose tool, matches (in waterproof baggie), small led flashlight, knife, band-aids, duct tape, fishing hook/bobber/weights, floss, aspirin and fire starters. The the tin is wrapped inside a handkerchief/bandanna and tied off. This is on me at all times in my purse, tote, whatever I happen to be carrying and takes up very little room. Great for the ladies. I'm even thinking of making a few up as stocking stuffers for my girls...if I can wait that long

My usual within reach lights are a Gerber Recon, Fenix E21 and the headlamp is a Petzl Tikka2, all take AA or AAA batteries.
