I like this mix. It's quite good.
2 1/2 Cups unsweetened cocoa powder
3 cups powdered milk (I use the generic store variety)
2 cups powdered non-dairy creamer
2 cups sugar . . . more if you like it sweet sweet. (or equivalent substitute)
If you have a large food processor you can mix it in the processor. Pulse it to mix the ingredients.
I use a whip in my mixer.
Or you can mix by hand only. It's better to mutilate the ingredients or you'll end up with small clumps in the boottom of the cup, however, they don't taste bad at all . . . just feel funny in the last slurp.
Mix with hot water according to taste.
The last batch I made i had some "special dark chocolate" powder left over from something else and added that along with some regular cocoa powder in the mix. Probably be quite good using only dark chocolate cocoa powder if you like dark chocolate.

How do you dehydrate rum so it can be an optional ingredient?

How do you dehydrate rum so it can be an optional ingredient? Not sure about dehydrating, but drink enough of it and you'll be pickled. Pickling is preserving right?

I made some of this today. It is VERY GOOD. I usually like hot cocoa a little sweeter but this was perfect.
