If they're falling apart just from being lightly handled I'd love to take one apart to try to figure out why. Maybe a defective part? This was the first I had heard it. Until I see it for myself, I'll reserve opinion.

I am not interested in that gun so we didn't speak about it to much. Next time I'm around I will ask them if they have specifics. Both stated the issues came up at the SHOT show this year.

Now I've have to raise the BS flag on whomever was saying that. Remington was not allowing disassembly at the shot show. Nor was there any incident of it falling apart there. We had two members at the shot show, both had their hands on the weapon, and were paying attention to all comments made by people in the vicinity, non of which ever stated anything of the nature. If there were issues, it was not at the shot show. Fast forward to 5:37. While I haven't seen it directly yet, I can see where an improper assembly of the firearm could appear to an observer to be a problem. Most folks will not be used to the pendersen action. If you field strip it, the breach block will fall out. That is by design. If someone witnessed that without knowledge of the action type, they could be under the mistaken impression it was a flaw.

Nice, good to hear.
