Has anyone seen ammunition prices increasing in their areas? I've seen a slight increase with certain ammo over the last 3-4 months. I'm afraid it's going to get much worse as we get closer to November. Remember just before the last election and the ammo shortages, followed by price increases? Especially those dang scalpers on the net auctions.

So far I've seen nothing that isn't explained by general increases in the cost of manufacturing.

You're probably correct. I'm being cautious though, as we were hit hard with centerfire and especially rimfire ammo shortages the last time around. Wally World still has a purchase limit in effect at most of their stores on rimfire ammo.

What is the best place and best price out there right now? Depends, local price might be a tad higher then online, but you don't have to pay shipping. Places like Midway USA and Cheap Then Dirt can charge $15 and up just on shipping. If you shop around and buy in bulk, you can find places that will give free shipping on $XXX.

Radway green .308 ~125 per thousand. Malay .308 75 1,000. Up over 500 percent between then and now.
