I don't know where to put this and maybe everyone who wants to has already heard it. I put it in communications because I consider it a motivational tool. I just am so glad I am a Marine, I would have missed so much if I had not joined. I wish we had this song when I was in. Hope it doesn't offend any one. I would say R rated www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sam4lq2WHos&feature=related

Here's some additional motivation, woodyz: these are the lyrics that I sang to my Marine, in his barracks, in front of and for his fellow Marines, shortly after he graduated from bootcamp. I got to stay in the on-base housing, noticed a Gunny eyeballing my Marinemobile, and couldn't resist pointing out these lyrics that I'd left on my dashboard. He "ordered" me to sing 'em, and I did. This was shortly before the Emblem ceremony.
The Marine Hymn for parents:
We are moms and dads, the parents of Our Marines, the Few, the Proud. They all went through boot camp and became Our Marines, and each one LOUD. First we taught them to know right from wrong And to love the U.S.A. Then we came to Parris Island to See them graduate today.
We the parents of these new Marines Are even prouder than before. No matter where they go to serve, They’re part of the beloved Corps. Honor, courage, and commitment are The values they embrace. Perseverance and dedication are On each and every face.
Our new Marines have all been taught By the best DIs in the Corps. Our new Marines will take with them Their Corps values evermore. From Hawaii to Afghanistan, And in the Middle East Our Marines defend America In wartime and in peace.

And thank your Marine and you and your family for choosing to serve for all the rest of us. Some people forget that when a son or daughter serve in most cases it becomes a family serving. So thanks for your service.

This is the version of The Warrior Song that I like. The Photography in this is just wonderful! Someone on the old forum had this version as their signature but I cannot remember who it was. I have to listen to this version at least once a week!

It does have some good pictures and George Patton and Chesty Puller were cut from the same cloth. But.......................... the version I will listen to every day has words and pictures that mean more to Marines like me.
I take nothing away from the Navy, the Army, the Air Force, or the Coast Guard. All have their part, all do there part, and I salute and thank them all. I have found this video hi-lighting each of the different branches, with special changes for each. In fact I will admit that I don't think the Marine version was first.
But the Marine Corps version is first for me and I will play it everyday for the rest of my life, in dedication to everyone in all branches, for all time, and to some unmentioned names known only to me and the Wall.

That's what I do when I have the pipe organ at my disposal Unfortunately the pastor of the church where I'm the organist has a problem with having the service songs played during the Memorial Day and Veteran's Day weekends, as well as any other appropriate times throughout the year. He doesn't even include all 4 verses of America the Beautiful when we sing it. For that reason, when he's on vacation, I enjoy myself... ;D ;D ;D
