I stink at giving this kind of direction but here it goes..... I use the old school from the ST board you copy the location index from your address bar on your web browser while in youtube and it usually looks something like: v= sj1OdyMxgxM you just use the red part..... then you use [ youtube] as the lead and [ /youtube] to close.... it would be like [ youtube] sj1OdyMxgxM [ /youtube] just leave out the spaces between the [] and [ ] on the sj1OdyMxgxM no spaces at all and you get I hope that helps a few folks out....

Another way is to.....after you hit the reply button to post your reply, select the red button labeled "Tube" and insert the address for the video between the brackets. It does the same thing (putting up the brackets). You do not have to shorten the address to embed the video though - you can paste the entire address.
Just another way for those interested.

And now we all know why Crashdive 123 is an Administrator! He has that unique ability to actually look at the reply page and see that great big RED box that says T.U.B.E.! I feel so dumb. Thank You Kind Sir. That will be much easier.

But you still have to go to utube and copy the address first, then come back and past it between the brackets?

Yes, you have to have a video link to paste between the brackets.

Thank you! Took me four tries to admit I needed to read the directions, figured it out right away afterwards.

Hmmmmm...... Why am I having a hard time posting a video? I notice we no longer have a "youtube" button. We do have a "video" one. but for some reason when I copy the link into the box, it says my video will show up, but when I create the thread the video doesn't show. When I preview the post it shows the box and says my video will show up there, But it doesn't. I'm so confused....

The insert video has been expanded to accept more than just Youtube and is the 5th button from the right.

Fifth from the right? I'm not responding, I'm trying to create a new thread. Fourth from the right says "video" fifth says "insert user link" Is that the one I use?

Fifth on my screen, but click on the one that says video. Looks like those scene marker things for movies.

Yeah, that's what I've been trying to use. Must be something on my end. Thanks for trying.
