What's your thoughts on a Ruger P95PR15. I had a customer who could not pay so he bartered his P95 for part of the bill. I got the handgun 3 15rd mags and 50 rds of WW white box ammo. His bill was $270.00 I allowed him $240 and will more than likely have to write the 30 off as I don't think he will be back. Gun shows little to no use.

You didn't get hurt on the deal if as long as it's not been reported as stolen. Be sure to keep records on that one.

I personally am not a big fan of Ruger semis. They do make revolvers just fine though IMO. That said, if its a gun you like and it works reliably, then its a good deal. Like CWI said, keep the paper trail on that one. Let us know how it shoots!

I'm not big on Smith auto's either. IMO the 686 is probably the best 357 ever made. Still miss that 4" beauty I sold.

[/quote] Never had any of the triple numbers BUT I still hold under lock and key and keep an evil eye on my 3 Mdl 66s (6in 4in and 2in) and my 29-2 6.5". Have a Mdl 15 that I have carried for mor years then I care to remember. The only S&W auto I have now is my Mdl 39-2 I got in Okinawa when you could still buy guns in the BX. That P95 being a FULL SIZE gun is what really intrest me and as some one said the price was right.

My quess was around 350 with 2 mags and the box and add the 3rd mag should be 375 to 385. Haven't shot it yet. SOON.

Those model 66s would be heaven. There'll come a time I reckon where a slingshot would be welcome until they put you in jail for it. (Tractor supply already asks for ID)

If it transferred without an FFL involved then it has no paper trail and well worth it.
