Tomorrow is open day of the Missouri turkey season. Gonna break out the calls, 12ga, and guillie suit and try yet again to down Tommy or his little brother Jake. Hoooorah!

Wow, turkey season comes early in the year, do y'all get another season later in the year. This is our Spring season - gobblers only. The whole month of October is fall season (firearms) where we can take hens too. Turkeys can be taken via archery concurrent with the deer bow season. Spring is when they do the love dance, fall is more of a meat hunt.

Rain kept me at work on Monday. Got out today and had a nice one on a hen dancing away in my field but never came in. Oh well, heard some gobbles and it was a gorgeous day.
