Movers come today and pack it all up. Close on this property Friday (and maybe the new woods same day. Still waiting to hear). What a miserable time moving is. I'll have lots of preps stored away but it's not any different than being gone from home for 3 months. Bought a fifth wheel and parking it at neighbors till I close and get a drive and pad cleared. Hopefully in the next two weeks that'll get done. Then off to the new Camp David. Rendevous in the fall I hope.

Quite a few headaches to clear so many hurdles. Hope all fall into place soon to help with a smoother move.

Moving is a great time to inventory and discard a lot of the crap that accumulates over time. Your new place will be solid.

Thanks everyone. Looking forward to this adventure everyone is worried I'll miss seeing the lake every morning. I will miss Gods incredible sunrises and the way He changes the waters. But I'm really looking forward to seeing His work every morning in the woods. New perspective new attitude. New beginnings

THAT Camp David is in my history and memory. One of the best memories was the Survival Bunker Rendevous

Well what I'm doing today, right now, I'm sitting at the new Camp David. Timber cleared for driveway (road), clearing for storage bldg, fifth wheel, house, septic. Also about 600 feet, 30 feet wide for electric poles easement. Looks like you could land a STOL plane here. Waiting to see what it's like in the dark with full moon. Me and my RG .22. Lol. My schedule (ha, like I can control any of this) has been blown to smithereens. Really good backhoe man though. He works magic with that thing.

Sure is quiet except for dogs, doves and I hear a turkey once in awhile. Living in the woods is going to be great.

Sounds like it's time for a "first howl" at that moon.

Sure is quiet except for dogs, doves and I hear a turkey once in awhile. Living in the woods is going to be great. The wife shut the fan off the other night when we went to bed. First time in a 2-3 weeks. I'm laying there and I say, "There's something wrong" "What?" She says. "I don't know. Somethings different". "The fans off you idiot!" "Doh!" You're right. The country is quite. In the city, I never would've noticed the fan not running.

600x30 feet? Sounds like a gun range to me!
