Don't know much about them. Is $379 in the ball park for a .357 fairly rough in appearance.
Didn't get a model #.

Stainless? Blued? Is it one of the 4 barrel sets? How "rough" is it? Most importantly, how is the timing and cylinder lock up?

I backed out on the deal. On second look the lockup was just too loose.

Pawn shop got a Smith model 19 in today. Tight as a drum, good bluing not too worn, small powder burn streak on the strap. Forgot to check the force cone for a crack. Got it on hold for $499. Will check the cone tomorrow. If the cone's fine it may be a keeper. Will check to see which 19 model it is 19-1 or what.

Take your smart phone and input the serial number. I love 19s PS. And 10s and 66s Well Thywar she's 65K8096 Model 19-4, forcing cone fine, cylinder gap .005 pushed to the back. I think she'll do just sitting around waiting for something to happen. And . . . she's mine. I'm sure the DW's gonna absolute love this one.
