went evening fishing on the 25th and caught this pig of a smallmouth. Used a one blade spinner bait and 6# Trilene XL Mono. Retrieved alone the bottom at just the right speed allowed to bump now and then. I do have a video but it's not very good, I need to fix my hat cam to get the best videos. Here is a pic for now  |

Thanks everyone , it's not the biggest or fattest bass but the creek it came from is rather small. making this bronze back extra special in my book. With the water quality the cutting of trees and channelizing of our rivers and streams it's a wonder we have fish to catch. In my state we have what is called a fish consumption advisory, no more then two fish dinners a month, that my friends is a crime.

Here is the video of my catch, i missed the first two jumps. That's how it goes when your holding the camera in one hand and fighting the bass in the other. I need to get my hat cam up and running soon.
