In kinda an answer about the bamboo wigwam as well as just a cool thing to watch...... One young lady and her husband, and I put it that way as she is and has been buckskining all her life, put up a wigwam. Was just across from my lodge so watched the whole thing...... Started out with very thin a wispy willow tied overlapped and tied at the top, Continued the frame work....did mention that they were drying out as the willow was cut in April......traditionally this frame would have been cut upon arrival at a location when the people made the migrations for hunting to winter grounds and so forth. They added a liner as step that may have not been traditional....and are working with the tent maker as far a proto types Then added several canvas sections, which may have been hides, or bark in the past Completed....... Selfie.....my favorite position........LOL
