I can see this being very useful indeed! Have you done any tests with caps that have gotten wet and then subsequently dried? Do they work the same? I only wonder as moisture would be their enemy despite any/all tricks to keep them dry.

But you may be surprised at how well they keep.I did try to wax them but that failed. Someone sujested some type of spray lacquer but have not tried it yet, thanks for replying ;D
