The next of kin only has 2 weeks to act, and there's every reason to believe that the infamous knock on the door will occur prior, especially since there is no effort made to encourage people to sell them to a collector, for instance, or even to go through whatever steps to keep them.

Wow. Whats to say they cant take a house, car, or anything else? Afterall, cars kill far more Americans than do guns.

The law as it stands only applies to hand guns which are highly regulated here. The family has two choices, they can sell them or they call apply for a permit. They are not told that these are their options. The sneaky Bas***** will even try to tell them that it applies to long guys. Last from what i understand it is only in the city of Buffalo and you dont get much bluer up there.

Wow. Whats to say they cant take a house, car, or anything else? Afterall, cars kill far more Americans than do guns. They can and have. Don't pay the tax and it's gone. Very little do you actually own. Everything else is in varying rates of rent.
