I *may* have several thousand rounds of differing types of ammo. Currently it's in a spare bedroom in a hutch with a nice false back. So the ammo is secure, I'm just worried about any possible corrosion issues. The humidity is not a huge issue and the temps are not extreem.
I was thinking about vacuum packing it. Long term in my case could be 10 - 20 years. What do you do to combat any corrosion issues? Should I be concerned?

as long as you eliminate oxygen and water it should not be a problem. One way is dry ice.
I have had ammo under water in PVC pipe sealed properly and never had a problem.
I still use a hand full of rice for near term but stored ammo.
I had some 30 year stored ammo I didn't do anything to except put the boxes it came in into a metal ammo box and kept it in a building (no temp control) and it all fired just fine.
I have also had some stored with a reloader coated with lithium grease and the ammo had reacted to the degrading grease, but the container wasn't air tight and wasn't purged of moisture or oxygen so now I try and at least have them in separate containers.
