close as I can get, my Grandfather would not allow Cherokee spoke in his house, though he was full blood and my Grandmother 1/2
he lived across the street from the res for christs sake

I once had a set of Barretta 9 mms with consecutive serial nos. See at one time I had good taste in firearms. Now look at me. Reduced to proudly carrying an RG. LOL Sure you want to stick with that statement? |

these days its a glock 19 90% of the time, 380 5%, colt officers acp 5%
i do stagger my rounds (and i am so glad it was 380 ball when my finger got shot)(could have been 45 jhp)
most leo's around here carry what they own, no standard except for sled and state troopers.
what i do doesn't matter, as cwi states what you carry matters, find out what is going to be best for you if you get in a jam.
the real trick is to make sure your action is justified in your area and you don't get charged, then it doesn't matter what you were carrying.

sprechen Sie Deutsch i took German for two years, worthless to me I could speak enough to get directions if they spoke slowly. I could order food and get a room WITH a bathroom (lots of places are down the hall). In Germany every room with a door increases your taxes. Thus armoires. When I rented a place 'on the economy' off post it was an empty house. The only thing there was the toilet/tub/sink in the bathroom no kitchen cabinets or appliances OR light fixtures. My first lesson in electricity. And it's 220. Nobody had to tell me when I messed up. |

In TN, and many other places with an over zealous prosecutor, not getting charged is part of what I was saying. Wonder bullets and dirty hairy perceptions can and have made the difference repeatedly. |

If your in a reciprocity state. It will still be based on your home settings/LEO. When ask in court why, that's your answer, not because you read somewhere the wonder bullet would ensure killing them. |

In most cases I have witnessed the issue only came up if you were carrying hand loaded ammo, particularly if it was some abby-normal hillbilly concoction like BB's packed in ham topped with fireants.
If you are carrying commercially loaded ammo available to any John Doe on the street, and don't make statements about planning on doing as much destruction to that worthless xxxxxxxxx as you possibly can, then you are only looking to stop the aggression. You have no knowledge of ballistics and simply purchased the caliber appropriate for the firearm as directed by the store clerk.
A felloww officer and friend (not Thywar), shot a non cooperative perp through both sides in n out of the Arse when he would not dismount the vehicle, with a heavily loaded, soft lead swc. Removing a lions share of said Arse.
The bad guy turned out to have a gun under the seat he was going after making it a good shoot legally.
Over time my friend lost his job and a huge civil action on account of the overly loaded deadly soft lead bullet.
MORAL of the story, they both lost their Arses!

This is why I wont bling my gun out with Punisher skull grips, aggressive sayings, cofederate flag or anything else that could be used against me in court. In fact, I may just paint all my guns pink.
