Don't know if anyone is looking, but Palmetto is still running their sale on 5.56/55gr Federal (Lake City) $0.288 to $0.30 per round. With shipping to Texas, 990 rounds comes to around $0.32/rd delivered to my door. These are 90 round boxes on stripper clips of 10.
They also have .22lr Federal Auto Match 40gr LRN, in boxes of 325 for $26.99 each limit 3 - so at least you could get 975 rounds for about $90. delivered to you. Not cheap, but available if you need it.
