At mine and the wifes age, if they want to look, well they deserve what they get.

Scary, very scary. It is surprising how many people, including judges, have no clue what law enforcement are using against the public. Until they are ruled against by courts, or laws, the envelope will continue being pushed against the fourth amendment.
It has always amazed me how much the govt. tries to work around the Constitution rather than simply follow it. I am not a big fan of the ACLU but like unions there are times when they are needed.

Sooooo, if I find something attached to the exterior of my wall, my house, my property, safe to say it can be removed with a hammer.
Come on guys, you guys are over reacting to all this technology stuff. This is just a tool to catch all the terrorist sleeper cells that are out and about.

If y'all had let me know, it wouldn't be in smoking ruins. Masking you say? Wasn't aware my internal faraday was against the building code..BTW, could you point me to that statute?

Did a post get deleted? cwi's reply, just above this post, looks like it's responding to comments I can't find. Masking? Faraday cages illegal? What did I miss?
I am curious, though. Is it possible to block this signal with a metal foil or screen?

"The radars were first designed for use in Iraq and Afghanistan." Sounds like a case of the company realizing they were going to be financially ruined with things winding down in Iraq/Afghanistan, and began advertising it for LE just to keep themselves in as a player. Personally I'm already waiting for this tech to fall into the wrong hands with regards to foreign enemies.

Is it possible to block this signal with a metal foil or screen? No post was deleted, just answering an imaginary fed when they figured out their latest toy was easily defeated. That of course is assuming they are telling the whole truth, which I don't believe they are. The specs in question are here: www.range-r.com/tech/theory.htmTo have the capabilities they claim, it has to be operating less than equal to 1cm wavelength. Dead center of the microwave spectrum. Looking to the door of a microwave oven is all the info someone needs to figure out how to block it.
