What a great place to relearn weapons after being out of the military for so many years. I started having basic training flashbacks when the instructors were training us by firehose (note: never attend their courses on minimal sleep). When we didn't do exactly what they told us, they didn't yell at us. They came up and encouraged us and relayed the instructions once again. We're hoping to head back this Spring and get more training. There were many LEO's and military personnel getting training on both sides of me. I found it reassuring that the instructors knew what they were doing. It was refreshing walking around Pahrump, NV seeing civilians with guns strapped to their hips. Thought I was back in the Old West movie days.

Sounds like you really enjoyed yourself. And it sure never hurts to freshen up on our skills, especially as over the years one can certainly pick up some bad habits without really realizing it.

Awesome, sounds like a good time. I've been tying to find the time to get to asymmetric solutions. Must be SOF of any of the branches to work there. Someday soon hopefully. Enjoy your new knowledge.
