Probably heading toward Camp David because word got out about a fully functional RG-22 in the hands of a civilian........... Who said it was fully functional? Huh? Umm you did... in a manner of speaking Whatever it is, if you threw it at someone it would be more deadly and accurate than an RG. Hey now, that's a low blow. At least there are six shots and lead in the general vicinity. |

can we still say our fearful leaders, the current administration, the iranian loving maggot, POS, A$$HAT? Is it wrong to say black suburban? shouldn't it just be suburban? and what if the ford people get upset and demand equal time. seriously yes its good to remember and maybe we should get a post of reminders once a month because we all know "shorts" and i are from ok and we forget somethings quickly and NEVER FORGET somethings. but i do hate the people with money equally with the ones on the dole. doesn't that help some? just because you can load six bullets in it doesn't mean you will get six shots. on the other hand look at all hinkley did with his rg and six shots, maybe he was holding it side ways and got more projectiles. so your excuses about your rg are getting old watch the hinkley reruns and learn to use what you got  |

Having been raised in the particular area where I was (rather than the broader and more general name of the place), I have ALWAYS had to watch what I said. PC baloney goes back to the early 60s for me when I couldn't set foot outside without someone calling me "Whitey". Funny how that works, since I have always referred to people as "people" or as members of the "human" race. Immigration status is a separate issue, but I have never in my life (knowingly) used derogatory terms when referencing someone's origin. Complaining about illegal immigration, or having to cater to the non-English-speaking folks I encounter, remains my right and my peeve, respectively.
When the noose on speech is tightened next time, we all could rant about something else, but I suspect that sooner or later, it'll be interpreted as being against the iic group (idiots in charge). Which will die first: truly free speech or the already-kaput economy?

I had a full page written out on this subject, but have decided not to post it. If YOU want to capitulate to those who believe they are the final arbiters of right or wrong, or acceptable/unacceptable......then so be it. They have taken your beliefs and made you pocket them, just as a federal judge did when stepping on the baker that refused to make a "GAY!!" wedding cake.
In his/her estimation, his/her beliefs in political correctness trump your right to free speech. Only speech he/she agrees with will be allowed. So much for the right to free speech whether in a public or private forum.
And so much for adhering to and standing up for those beliefs you espouse.

If we stand up for those beliefs and go against the written rules provided by Proboards, we could be shut down. No more Bunker, no more vast treasure of information stored here, and it all falls on my shoulders because I have the sole responsibility for this place according to Proboards. All it would take is one of our over 300 members to get crosswise of something posted publicly here and register a complaint with Proboards.
I certainly can't afford a couple of thousand bucks to get an unregulated place and move. Can you?

Imo fiat is an illusion as well. Its value is tied directly to the populations belief that it is valuable. No belief=no value. Poo on private banks. (Can I still poo on things CC?) The current war on grammar is absurd. Not to say a person ought to shoot their mouth off for no reason, however Starbucks asks you "creamed or uncreamed" instead of black/ creamed Or England( maybe was all of Europe?) Renaming blackbirds something without the word "black". Its nothing short of a war on language itself to keep those from speaking freely. How many of you have been called racist because you disapprove of Obama? Don't like that he's a thief? Your racist. Don't like your Obamacare? Your racist? Don't want him to take your firearms? Racist.... Shopping on black Friday? RACIST!! but, it only works if you believe the illusion. |

I don't disagree with previous posts at all. So we all must make a decision of stay or go. I'm sure this isn't the only place you're limited. I'm staying in spite of proboards. I was the first to admit I'm strident in my conversations. Do I like being monitored? Of course not. However, I've got all these friends, family really, and tons of great Information available here. I'm sure anyone who reads any of my posts has a good idea of my positions so I'll just find new words to define myself and stay within the parameters set here. I can always step outside and tell the squirrels, rabbits, coyotes and coons (that's not an attempt to be racist or refer to anyone in power, I really do have coons) exactly what I think in words unacceptable here.
So like any professional place of business or in public in the presence of ladies I'll watch my words. Hopefully ALL of you will stay and keep this place viable, informative and family. If I Had to watch my words in front of my parents I can do the same here. It's all good.
