www.barefootsworld.net/sweatlodge.htmlWell I have decided I need to build a sweatlodge here. And If it works out I will build one at Retreat E. I don't know why I have not done so already it would probably have helped me "see" better a long time ago. More than likely not having one for the last 30 years or so is why I couldn't see I needed one. So we started on a foundation today. Or I should say I directed the start of the foundation today. I realized I needed one when re-visiting some old favorites/bookmarks I had and learning some "prayers" in Cherokee. It came to me the only proper way to recite these prayers was during a sweat ceremony and the only way to do the ceremony is from a sweatlodge, so I am building one. I decided on only a four person one. The minimum is four positions E/W/N/S, and its gotta face the morning sun, with the rock warming fire directly in line with the sun, so it didn't give me many choices for location, but I got it figured out. Anyway I am doing it and if it works out like I think it will I will then be taking a trip to Camp David and build one there. I am thinking as an extension to his out door tub enclosure I doubt he build yet (but needs) So thywar start figuring out where East is with an open view and where you want your outdoor tub/shower/sweatlodge.

Now that's a great idea and what I call going back to some true roots. Very few people know about sweat lodges and I'm glad you're trying to spread the word about them.
