I guess this is similar to "What I did today" the food version. Seeing as I'm the newly designated cook at my house.... ... I thought we could share what's grillin', chillin' bakin', shakin' fryin' and cryin'. Tonight on the grill, we've got maple turkey breasts and cubano skirt steaks with grilled bourbon, brown sugar glazed peaches for desert.

Grilled burgers last night.
Calzone night before. Calzone: mix together some ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, Romano, spinach and a egg and bake in folded over pizza dough at 425 till browned the way you like it. Basically just throw in whatever you like with some cheese and enjoy! Gonna try some Zucchini squash calzone with the left over cheese mix.
Tonight? Family up so well prolly take'm to a pizza joint. Uhggg!

The other night made a simply pan fry dish - new potatoes sliced, onion, asparagus, sliced carrots, shrimp and pork. Simple, quick and cheap. Good to the palliate too.

Just got back from a double brother and sister birthday party. Menu was low-keyed. Hot dogs and homemade chili, Rotel cheese dip with Fritos, cupcakes and soft drinks. Short and sweet and it filled the stomach one more time.

Tonight I did the cooking. Mrs Crash doesn't normally let me cook unless it's on the grill, but since today is her birthday I insisted. I think I may have done OK.
Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail Lump Crab cake on a deli roll Sweet Potato fries Boston Cream cupcake with Blue Bell vanilla ice cream
