he has failed to call me back as he said he would. and failed to return my texts. Starting to sound like he knew he was taking you for a ride. If your stuck with it, may as well make lemonade. Time to learn how to trouble shoot and repair it. your right. i took it apart once earlier. it was nice to know how it works. lol. its very simple actually. im going to give hi point a call in the morning to see where i stand there.

hi point has a lifetime warranty, send it back get it fixed. it dont matter if its second hand

I agree with Mud, Hi-Point has a pretty good reputation about honoring the warranty. If you decide to fix it yourself, there is a good forum on HiPoint firearms that has been very helpful.

i joined the forums. they were all very helpful in what i should do. i tried calling today, but they were busy apparently. this rifle has many problems
