STOP CGU!!!! STOP!!!!! Okie is my friend but even I don't want to have to live through that.. dollar bills wouldn't cut it.. now .30-30 shells might make it happen.. but I still don't want to see it.. I'll just give him a box of shells.. but anything but that.. hmmmm... An enterprising Redneckidokie could really cash in around here!!! Valuable cash and prizes for NOT posting a bikini pic. I bet Ruger would put up to if they thought it would be bad for business. Or he could be their new poster child.

I have both the Ruger and Keltec. Neither has any safety features so I don't leave a round in the chamber. Definitely a point and shoot at close range and you may have to squeeze off five rounds to get the desired affect. It has a pretty hard recoil and not much fun to target shoot in my opinion. Small and very easy to conceal. The LCP is my choice for everyday carry simply for the size. If I'm wearing a jacket during winter I may carry a .40.

I agree I carry my Glock 40 cal during the winter. Just picked up my LCP today only shot 10 rounds but liked it, picked up a pocket holster, extra magazine, and 1 box of shells (darn 1 box limit)

I tried out my LCP yesterday. It's a little hard on the hand but not too bad. The only downdide was that the factory crimson trace isn't working right so it will have to go to Crimson Trace to figure out the problem. While the guy at the range was checking out the LCP/CT I worked with a .40. By the time I got the LCP back it seemed pretty smooth in comparisson.

I carry my Keltec WITH a round in chamber &have done so manyyears. It aint going off accidentally . If that gun fires...you pulled the trigger period. Unlessyour the type that playswith the trigger with the gun in your pocket ( and yes there are some that do ) youneed not worry onsafety issue. Plus Im not going to ask Mr Badguy to wait just asecond while I Chamber around. The Keltec/ LCP was designed for IN_POCKET carry for quick, up close and personal engagements....i.e.pullgun from pocket ..stick and shoot...Fast....Having to 1st chamber around puts YOU at risk.... JMO

Gotta say the more I handle and use the LCP the more I like it. It appears I found the 3 things I like in a EDC handgun, 1) Dependability, 2)Ease of concealment 3)Ease to clean, I would recommend the LCP without hesitation. Plus the price was reasonable.

May I also suggest that you load the LCP with either Hornady Critical defense or Zombie Max ammo. Ammo dishes up more devastation than any ammo I have seen. I have tested it out of my Keltec in different media and you can see its effect in ballistic gel on youtube. I now use this ammo exclusively in ALL my carry weapons.

I would have to second that, and add gold dot to the list.

I'm a Ruger fan, bought a pair of LC9's for the wife and I. Target speaks for itself, she loves it.

DW is a revolver fan, she only needs one round to do what needs done when it's under 15 yards. She has a ruger LCR in 357 and a backup SW air weight in 38spc for carry, and a Judge for those special moments in the car. She considers it layered defense.
I believe too many people discount revolvers. I prefer PPK for backup, and Glock 30 for primary, but I'd be the last person to discount the viability of a good revolver.

Remember, you asked for it. There is a gun in there somewhere as well as the Hong.!!!! OMG I carried the keltec 380 since they came out, then the ruger came out and several family members got them and I had a chance to shoot them and really liked them better than the keltec due to no spring binding and a better trigger. I wanted to upgrade but was not just warm and cuddley over the 380 cal. I bought a LC9 and have really been happy with the higher capacity and 9mm round. I do plan to buy a LCP before bikini season. I tried the Keltec but it didn't feel right in my hand. The Ruger is comfortable. I'll try it out next week. Heck! Go ahead and post the bikini pics. I'll wave dollar bills. If you've been on a certain other site and know what a hong is then nothing can top that.
