That sounds HIGHLY amusing....... Side note: a very long time ago in my college years in Flagstaff, Arizona, I was lucky enough to take instruction from Wesley Brown. It was mostly theory as I was pregnant at the time, but I did throw him over my head with a flying mare once. Sweet memory. seattlecombatives.com/?p=855

Lot of LE/Corrections type training which is mostly Akido based. Did a couple years of boxing. While boxing may not be the preferred street method, it will teach you to keep going after taking a punch. Wrestling in high school, some karate, and whatever my really tough friends could teach me.
Im of the school of thought these days that if you are in a fair fight then your tactics suck. Im just not in any mood these days to be in a 'contest'. I have to use whatever I can to end a fight as early as possible and My best weapon by far is my avoidance of fights all together wherever possible and then if pressed end it with decisive violence of action.
Breathing, body mechanics, strength v. weakness, balance, and situational awareness will take you a long way......

I studied with 9 brothers...its called "pick up someting and fight as dirty as you can". Works for me...and the last guy I fought from school who is missing his left nipple would probably agree, I don't fight fair AT ALL. ;D Amber calls it "The practice of Dinkyjeanism".
