Dessert looks good. Are those maraschino cherries or from pie filling? If the former, I'd hand mine to MW; he loves 'em.

Me either but I'm sure my blood sugar would be able to.. somewhere in the 400 range I imagine.. it doesn't even sound good.. each of those individually sounds good.. but someone had tooooooo much time on their hands and little else to occupy their mind

Homemade cat head biscuits with grilled pork tenderloin. Presentation may not be quite up to par but the taste was there. The salad: Fresh from the garden tomato, squash, basil with fresh home made goat cheese drizzled with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. For dessert. Buttered cat head with stripped cane sorghum last years corp by Hughes over in Blairsville.

That looked good right up to the goat cheese.. but it's okay.. I definitely would have made it up with those biscuits and sorghum.. ymmm those would be worth the high blood sugar..

I love biscuits, but I wouldn't sacrifice my cat to make 'em. Tonight on my table is fried pork steaks, potato pancakes and homemade sauerkraut boiled up with shredded potatoes, applesauce, white wine, brown sugar and chopped onions. Dessert is homemade banana bread made with about a dozen little bitty bananas gone overripe. Those little bananas are slightly starchier but way sweeter than regular bananas, and bread made from them is DIVINE. I use my own homemade Bisquick 3 C., mashed bananas, 1 egg, 1/2 C. buttermilk, 2/3 C. flour, 1/3 C. sugar, and 2 Tbsp. sugar sprinkled over the top of the dough in a greased loaf pan, baked for an hour at 350. Test with a toothpick to make sure it's completely baked through before removing from the oven, as this is a DENSE dough.
