So you throw the hook with bait and the fish bite it correct? What do you know that I don't OT? I didn't see what bait you where using, but I was using the wrong kind evidently. Kutkota I'll let you in on OT's little known fishing secret. It goes like this, nearly every video he makes shows him reeling them in one after another. What the video doesn't show is his sidekick at his side with a bucket of fish swimming around in it. Each time OT cuts the video off, his sidekick puts one on the hook then OT puts the video back on and Lo and Behold he's got another one. It works every time. Every so often he comes up empty to make us think it was a bad day. ;D   |

I take it you got skunked  is that correct? Fishing can be that way sometimes and yes it happens to me also. Tell me what you were fishing for, and what you used for bait. And how you rigged your line and where you were fishing. If it was a lake give me the name and ill check it out for you. Yeah no fish. However a huge storm came through the day before, and it was 45ish degrees so I didn't put a lot of time into it. I was using a small yellow grub with a tail on it, I had the sinker about 1 1/2 to 2 feet above the hook and it was fairly windy so I had to use a heavy sinker just to get it to cast it any distance. It was at reif snider state forest at the big lake they have there. Ok I did have some time to look the state forest over ...very nice. Here is a link mdc.mo.gov/fishing you will find lots of info here from how to catch em and where to catch em. I'm very impressed with the amount of information they have on this site and right in your area. Take the time to look around lots and lots of info on how when and where.
