Touched. Yep, that's our Thywar. I just can't pass this one up. He's definitely touched. What caused it, who knows.

Oh I'm definitely touched. Yep! No doubt about it. I've been touched by the unconditional love of a child. I've been touched by great parents who thankfully also loved me unconditionally and I miss them everyday. I've been touched by incredible friends who have had my back through all kinds of craziness. I've been touched by some of the most remarkable places on this earth that have held me spellbound by their beauty. I've been touched by strangers who have gone out of their way to show me kindness without expecting anything in return. I've been touched by the love of a good woman who I also miss daily. And best of all I've been touched by God who for reasons unknown to me has blessed me and kept me safe and filled my life with joy, happiness and beauty along with some sadness and hurt. For without the sadness and hurt how would I ever have recognized the happiness and beauty He has shown me by His touch. Touched? You bet!

Gate posts are in. Frame for garden with gate is built just have to put fencing on. Tilled the garden again so it's ready for planting. Tilled the utility line right of way and spread some grass seed amongst the rocks. So if the birds don't eat it all and we get some rain maybe in a couple of weeks I can get some grass to grow there. NOT for mowing just to keep the dust down and the mud at bay. This is my last night of clinicals and tomorrow is my last day of observing at Mercy Ortho hospital in Ft Smith. Now just have to fight the politics at the Indian hospital and have them create a slot and fund it and I can go to work. I've already visited with the Chief's Mother who is also on the board at City Hospital. We shall see

Well you certainly have been the busy bee. I hope all goes well for you to get on board at City Hospital and wish you the very best. It couldn't happen to a better person.

Nights like this is one of my favorite nights at Camp David. Full moon, coyotes are already howling. Gonna be cold (not happy with that) and clear which makes the stars brighter and you can see more of them. Makes me seem really smart for moving forty miles north of the lake. You know where all the storms hit. Lol.

Well after tilling the rocks and what little dirt there is along the utility line the grass seed is just laying there. Even the birds didn't eat it. Siigghhhhh!!! Building (ok attempting to build) a tool shed for my garden tools. Once I put the sheeting on nobody can see the interior screw ups. Lol. Probably have to screw it to the garden fence with this wind we've been having. Planted corn, beans, beets and radishes today. So far I'm having a bumper crop of rocks. And Johnson grass sprouts. More tomorrow depending on the weather. More thunderstorms with a tornado watch this evening. Another earthquake in central Oklahoma. Almost a daily occurrence it seems. In the 3.5-4.5 range Life is good at Camp David.

I would suggest some seismic design go into your location. I am not a professional geologist, but there is ample evidence your area is going active.
With the rock line being what it is, I don't think ground liquefaction will be a problem, but shear forces may be an issue.

Well I'm sorry y'all don't have the pleasure of Missasip stopping by on his way left. The man brought 12 lbs of soooo goood crawfish. Got my gates hung today. It's always fun, informative conversations, fun, and just a great way to spend the weekend. The 35* temps this morning weren't typical Mississippi weather but he (we) struggled through it. Just another great benefit of this forum. Great friends great food and real cold beer (cause they be some mighty fine spicy crawfish). PS Y'all rest easy as we have solved all the world's problems with a plan to get out of jail. (We are watching 'Cool Hand Luke'

TW, one day you'll look at a certain something Missasip helped you with and the memory will put a smile on your face and you'll feel warm all over thinking what great friends you guys have become. Your description of the crawfish had my mouth salivating. Sounds just perfect, exactly like I season mine with a cold one or two to wash them down. Stay safe on your journey Missasip!

Success. C'mon you wascally wabbits twy and cwawl thru that new fence. Whoo Hooooo!! Dang knowledge and experience from someone who has been there done that trumps anything you read in a book. My garden is all fenced in. Looks great and I'm a happy man. Blessed with a great friend who NOT ONLY brings great crawfish but cooks up some great red beans, rice and sausage with a loaf of 'long bread'. (I hate giving the french credit for anything). On top of all of that Wildflower sent a great variety of herbs and garden plants. Including oak seedlings from the Long Beach, MS 500 year old Friendship Tree. Many thanks, Wildflower. Your generosity will not only feed me well seasoned food but one day let me sit in the shade. So if you haven't connected with some of these great people on here I urge you to do so. Life is better with bunker friends. Especially talented ones.
