Cajun the birds are thick, I'm feeding about 30 pairs of Cardinals, and my year round ring neck doves, plus an uncountable amount of sparrows and others. Gallon each of wild bird seed and chicken scratch daily, sometimes more. LoL

Waste not want not. The cost of bird seed is offset by the savings on dog food. Okie is smart like that. (I'm just kidding you all. Okie loves his birds. With bacon)

Been gradually losing some excess weight through basic portion control and more physical activity. It is making me food-centric . I'm not big on deserts, sugars and sweet stuff - but we are talking about bacon!

But when it comes to all that you mentioned....I'm pretty much on "seafood" diet....I see food and I eat it...lol Jimmy

Same here, goal is getting off these pounds by cutting back on portions and the sweets go to the birds. Not much on them, never was. Until recently I was fine and maintained a comfortable weight, then over six months I just gained and kept gaining. It's horrible and has affected my blood sugar level but I'm really working on getting it off. Kinda hard for my locale but making progress.

You told me that it was simply portion control and physical activity. That was was proof enough to make me a believer! When I decided to lose some weight, I thought about that again. Marc
