More of a weekend then today thing but - We killed 10 confirmed hogs and probably at minimum another 5 that ran off... Hunting at night with thermal scopes is a LOT of fun We also built a shooting table set up for left or right handed folks. That was mixed with all the "normal" mowing and gardening chores...

I'm always looking to try foods of different cultures. Today was a first, Greek food. I had a soup made of brown lentils served with fried pita chips, grape leaf salad with tomatoes, purple olives, and feta cheese scattered over it. A large serving of eggplant and many herbs with reconstituted sun dried tomatoes with slices of pita bread and a serving of delicious hummus and rice pilaf to the side. I don't usually order dessert but today it was strawberry cheesecake. It was enough food for three people and under $20. I did bring leftovers home and will enjoy them over the next few days. Last Friday my niece and I had lunch in town. After lunch she ordered herself a cappacino (sp.?). Since I had never had one I did the same and it wasn't so bad.

My new doctor provided me with a FULL MONTH of free samples, my refill order is already being processed in Canada, and it cost me a total of $150 for three months' worth.

Greek yogurt, humus, gyros, pita bread...some of my absolute favorites!

Went shopping for food and parts. Plumbing in and putting two hose bibbs on the bunk house. Finishing crocheting beanie for granddaughter in her school colors. Making Guacamole to go with Carnitas left over from last night with roasted onions, roasted pineapple, fresh garden spinach, ricotta cheese along with some Spanish rice with black beans. Putting potting bench in green house. Typing on this silly computer. Gotta go finish up.

Apparently they're going to remove my gall bladder at 8AM. I'm praying for a good quick surgery and comfort and swift healing afterwards for you. When hubby Mike had it some years ago, it was outpatient surgery and he had no problems recovering very fast.

All went well. Looks like one more night maybe. It was a one day episode and it was vicious. But on my way to recovering.
Unlike the other patient in my room who keeps demanding a bottle of alcohol and pack of cigarettes. Alcoholic and has no pain tolerance. So hard not to give him a lesson from the CDSSE

You can't rest peacefully hearing a whiny baby although he is going through withdrawal. He should've been put with another smoker if room permitted doing so.
